Utah D1 – Offensive Line Preview

Here are the top D1 caliber – offensive lineman, that we’ve been able to evaluate in person:

Top Division 1 Caliber

(listed in alphabetical order, according to first name)

Aiden Gordon, Riverton HS, 2019 – Gordon is considered to be one of the top Centers in the state of Utah.  He had solid performances at the Northern Utah D1 Showcase and at Rising Stars. Gordon is considered to be one of the toughest players in the state. He’s a D1 caliber football player.

Ammon Critchfield, Lehi HS, 2019 – This is Critchfield’s second time on our D1 Preview list.  He was listed as one of the top D1 caliber – Defensive lineman in the state.  He is also considered to be one of the top o-lineman as well. Canaan Yarro, Timpview HS, 2019 – Yarro is considered to be the top Center in the state of Utah.  He is also considered to be one of the most technically sound high school centers, that we’ve been able to evaluate in quite some time.  He was one of the top performers a the Central Utah D1 Showcase. He is a legit D1 caliber football player.

Hunter Hill, Orem HS, 2019 – I was able to evaluate Hill in person last fall.  He’s an impressive player, that is talented and obviously well coached. Our O-line evaluations on him have been limited, but that is irrelevant. He is considered by many to be one of the top offensive lineman in the West/Mountain West. He has received some impressive D1 offers.

Hunter Judkins, Fremont HS, 2019 – Judkins has had a monster off season.  He competed very well at the Northern Utah D1 Showcase, and at Rising Stars.  We love the upside that Judkins has.  We believe that he is a D1 caliber football player.

Kingsley Holliday, Corner Canyon HS, 2019 – This is Holliday’s second time on the D1 Preview list.  He’s a talented prospect that needs to be heavily evaluated by D1 schools. Read about him more in this article: Read here

Wyatt Ziegenhorn, Herriman HS, 2019 – Ziegenhorn is considered to be one of the top centers in the State.  He is another player who has had a great off-season.  Ziegenhorn has the potential to have an incredible year at Herriman. We love his potential at the next level.

Zac Mendoza, Roy HS, 2019 – Mendoza could possibly be the top offensive lineman in the state, for the 2019 class.  At 6’7″ 285 lbs, he has the size and athleticism that major D1 schools dream of.  Mendoza was the MVP of the Northern Utah D1 Showcase.

Top Underclassmen

Alex Harrison, Viewmont, 2020 – This is Harrison’s second time on the list.  He’s a very gifted offensive lineman at 6’6″ 290 lbs. Read more about him here: Read more

Porter LaChance, Herriman HS, 2020 – LaChance is one of the biggest D1 sleepers in the state. Don’t be surprised if he receives multiple offers, by this time next year.  LaChance had great performances at the Northern and Central – Utah D1 Showcases.

Ryker Keele, Morgan HS, 2021 – Keele had a great showing at the Northern Utah D1 Showcase. We like his D1 potential. We’ll be evaluating him heavy this season.

Tylor Stubbs, Timpview HS, 2020 – Stubbs was the MVP at Rising Stars.  At 6’5″ 285lbs, he’s considered to be one of the top line prospects in the 2020 class. He’ll be on quite a few D1 radars in the upcoming year. Stubbs is a legitimate D1 caliber football player.
